We protect the training content. The marketing pages on edusimo.com are open: search engines and AI assistants may index, quote and describe them.
- Who owns the content
- Edusimo. The training content belongs to Edusimo or its licensors and is made available under a licence.
- What we protect
- Courses and training modules, lessons and slides, narration and subtitles, course graphics, 3D and 360 scenes, questions, tasks and tests, and the sample modules (demo) in the app. The demo modules in the app are training content, not marketing material.
- What you may not do with the training content
- Without Edusimo's permission you may not copy it or download it in bulk, scrape it (scraping), process it with robots and AI agents, run text and data mining on it, use it for AI training, or use it to build competing courses.
- Text and data mining reservation
- We reserve it for the training content and also write it machine-readably in the app and API (robots.txt, /.well-known/tdmrep.json, tdm-reservation). Legal basis: Article 26³ of the Polish Copyright Act and Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790.
- The marketing pages are open
- The marketing pages on edusimo.com (offer, training, pricing, FAQ, guides, about) may be indexed, quoted and described, including by search engines and AI assistants. We want people to find Edusimo easily. The reservation covers the training content, not these pages.
- Customer responsibility
- A business customer is responsible for how the content is used in its organisation under its agreement with Edusimo (terms of service and licence terms). In our agreements with business customers (except sole traders with consumer rights) we stipulate a contractual penalty of PLN 50,000 for each course module copied in whole or in substantial part, downloaded by an automated tool or used for AI training, with no upper cap, and we may also claim damages exceeding the penalty. Persons who are not party to the agreement are liable under the Polish Copyright Act; the contractual penalty does not apply to them. The licence lets you train your own learners in the app, through SCORM or LTI.
